It depends on how you feel and the structure of your organization, as well as your attachment to your job..........I assume that you are both single and unattached..

let him be...But, if he is already married and you are also committed, stay away!

But if you're both free, then go for it if you like him too!!! smile

lol set the standard for him having anything to do with you so high he would have to quit and get a better job in order to match it.  Hitting on an employee is too easy but its creepy.

As a man in the workforce, I never had to face this problem.

If your boss flirts with you, and you feel that it is unwanted attention he is giving you (that is, you feel uncomfortable with it), then let him know how you feel about it. If he gets the picture, he will stop doing it. However, if he doesn't get it and continues do flirt with you, you might have to go over his head (if possible) to get him to stop. If it gets to the point where you cannot take it anymore, I'd look for a new job. Good luck!

It happened once when I was in my late 20s.  My female boss put her stockinged foot between my crotch.  While tempted, I looked her straight in the eye and threatened to tell her supervisor if she continued.  Perhaps I was bold, as it was my second job.  My marriage was already on the skids, as she (ex) had cheated.  But two wrongs don't make a right.

I would let the boss know I have a wife, whom I love to the max.

    Stay Well

I would say to always be as professional and polite as possible. Never let them realize you know that they are actually flirting or you can just ignore the flirt without being rude. I think after a while they will get the message.

If he/she comes all out and say what he/she feels then you have to let them know that you would rather, for both your sakes and the sake of the business, it be better that your relationship remain strictly professional. You must explain that having a relationship with the boss can only spell trouble on several levels:

    (1) Other employees may lose respect for the boss and you
    (2) Customers will start to feel uneasy if they get to know what's going on
    (3) It could be distracting to you to have a relationship in the office
    (4) If the relationship does not work out it would be almost impossible to work together
    (5) your job is very important to your and you would not like to jeopardize that
