Do you think that online dating has anything to do with the perfect couple meeting?
What is your opinion about two people paying for an online dating service and meeting, or the same two only paying for dinner and still meeting each other - or maybe they never meet either way. I believe that it is simply fate which handles it, not the way they meet.
I have never tried online dating, I know the modern way of going out to meet people is not the greatest way to do so and that people are very busy in modern times. If it works for people then I guess it works, through I don't think I want to try it at the moment I think I am still waiting for some crazy meeting story to tell.
Can't judge it until you try it I guess. I think it is easier for people to be someone that they are not on the internet that worries me a little about bringing your identity into it. So they'd have to chose one with some kinda safety policy so they knew they were talking to the person they thought they were talking to.
I do not think there is much more safety in online dating, with ID theft and such. I believe that fate could have the perfect couple meet at work, at a supermarket, etc.
Yeah through think that some sites may be safer than others for example a site where you can be an avatar instead of a human is probably not a good idea safety wise yet again if you give over too much info and there is no way of guarenteeing who the
Well I do not know anything about online dating.
The same people one would meet online are also waking around offline. The Internet didn't invent liars or cheaters. The key is to always use good commonsense when meeting strangers period. We all get to (choose) our own friends, lovers, and spouse
There is no such thing as"perfect couples" there are only "compatible couples". When it's all said and done it doesn't matter how or where you meet as much as (whom) you meet.
Two people in the same place shouldn't be judging one another.
The goal is always the same. Find someone who shares your same values, wants the same things as you do for the relationship, naturally agrees with you on how to obtain those things, and last but not least there is a mutual depth of love and desire for one another.
Happy couples have met one another in a wide variety of ways!
That is the word that I meant - perfect was incorrect. As for the rest of your comment, that is exactly how I feel and what I was trying to say. I have never used, or investigated, online dating. I feel that it is a waste of time and money.
The Examiner-1, Everything is a waste of time if someone does not get the results that (they) want. People say the same thing about the various ways of meeting people "offline" as well. Thankfully there are several options for people meet and date.

Some say that online dating is dangerous, that meeting a stranger and agreeing to see them is unsafe compared to meeting someone at a bar. There are arguments for both sides, but I was wondering what you hubbers had to say!

Do you realize that you could meet your next wife/husband or next best friend when you simply say hello? Why are people so afraid to approach someone? If you get rejected then that's the other person's lost. If they decline your invitation to exchange information maybe they are...
