    Don't place blame.
    Establish trust.
    Love unconditionally.
Show respect and don't let others disrespect.
Without knowing what is making your relationship weak, these are the guidelines I follow with my husband.  I never blame him for anything without knowing all the facts.  If facts are its his falt, we can work things out from there. Vise versa of course.

Make sure both of you can trust that the other is telling the truth all the time.  Even one little lie can turn into a big deal and end the relationship.

My husband may be the most attention craving men I've ever had the privelage to meet, but its one of the reasons I love him.  He loves it when I reward him for something and I love rewarding him (like taking out the trash without having to tell him). I love him for his good qualities and even his bad qualities.  He does the same for me.

And to show respect, know that your man is going to take care of you, protect you if someone is going to harm you physically or verbally.  You have to know that your partner will defend your honor.  (Yeah, corny!)  Out of all the men I've dated, my husband is the only one to ever defend me when I needed him to and he hasn't failed me yet.  I can't physically defend him, but verbally, you bet I will!

Hope this helps.  Sorry if I bored you.

be yourself and be polite.  if you are capable of doing that and the other person is not a drug addict, an alcoholic or mentally ill, you will  have a beautiful loving relationship.

I say that you can make a relationship stronger by paying more attention to what your partners needs are and maybe some desires he has. Take more time with each other and love uncondtionally.
