Just because they accuse you of cheating, does it mean that they are doing it?
It's usually said that if he or she is accusing you then that means they are doing it? How true is this when it comes to relationships? If you feel it's true then why?
It doesn't mean that they are cheating just because they are accusing you....However, many men cheat on their women. It doesn't help to jump to conclusions....You need to find a good partner who will be open and honest with you about cheating. Trust until you have a reason not to. I hope this helps.

'However, many men cheat on their women. It doesn't help to jump to conclusions'
and women don't cheat on thier men? I read a survey a few years ago that said that 50% of newlywed wives commit adultary within the first two years of marriage? Is that survey true, I don't know; however I once worked at a place where the infidelity was unbelieveable. A woman was talking with me about it and said, 'all married men are the same.' 'I'm not,' I said, 'and anyway, who are all the married men doing it with?' In a few minutes, it was realised that, with one exception, all the married men were in affairs with other married women.
I'm gettin a bit tired of all the blaming of men in society.
No it is not true. It is an accusation that has to be proved or disproved. However, to be accused in the first place indicates some kind of problem.
Even if the accusation is disproved, it would tough to get over and all of its implications would need to be faced if the relationship were to continue. When a person is charged with infidelity they are also being charged with being deceitful and untrustworthy. Once you know your significant other sees you that way it is hard to think that he or she will ever trust you again. It would take some intense heart to heart talking to get beyond that.
Also this is an attack on your pride and one the is normally responded to with anger. You've been told that your not a good person; that is not easy to take. If the relationship were to continue you would have to get over this anger; you must get it out and not have it fester.
8 times out of ten; if he is accusing you he is doing something to and same for a woman accusing a man. The Creator blessed us with a conscience and it will tell on you even when you don't want it to. Think about it a spouse/lover is out doing wrong they are sneaking and lying to you to see this other person.. After awhile they will think they are so cunning they will think like "okay she/he still doesn't know what I am up to? He/she HAS to be doing something" Then the jealousy takes over because it hurts their pride to know YOU could be cheating even though he/she are cheating themselves. I know; I know sounds dumb as hell.. but alot of times thats how it plays out. @Mick S not ALL men are bad but I do wish the good ones will make themselves more visible lol
No it doesn't mean they are doing it, it just means they have the suspician that you are, so they're confronting you about it.
either trust me or leave... that said. its been my experience, from life, bartending etc. that the accuser is likely to be the one tempted or doing it. and knows that theres something wrong in the relationship.
which is not to say that the accused is cheating or not.
Not always. Sometimes people observe a shift in behavior towards them and suspect there is something going on or not quite right. If and when they address it with their mate they are put off or told they are paranoid that only raises more suspicion.
Generally what happens is we tend to shower a new person with loads of attention, spend hours together, have lots of sex, respond to their phone calls, emails, and text messages fairly quickly, make weekend plans on Monday or during the prior the weekend...etc
When a partner suddenly becomes "less available" or less enthusiastic about getting together the other person suspects they are pulling away for some reason. The easiest thing to do is assume they are seeing someone else.
If their mate refuses to offer any clear explanations as to why the sudden change in behavior or reassurances that everything is as wonderful as it had been then things can get rocky.
There are instances however where a person has been cheated on in the past and they see the same signs.
Accusing someone of cheating has no bearing on your actions anymore than accusing someone of lying or stealing.
The accusation stems from a belief you are having about a particular situation.
I do not believe that is true. I think that more often, the accusations come from the insecurities of the accuser. Perhaps they have been cheated on before and now have difficulty trusting in subsequent relationships. Perhaps their parents marriages ended amidst cheating scandals. There are any number of reasons why someone becomes an accuser, but I do not think it is usually because they are cheating themselves. In fact, I believe that cheaters tend to keep quiet because they do not want to risk exposing their secret.

Why do married men cheat? This behavior is so rampant that some wives do not bother about it any more , they choose to let it go and life continues without the worry of distractions that can be brought about by their husband's behavior. But why do married men cheat?
