    I don't think that love really fades, I think that romance fades. You get so comfortable with your spouse that people tend not to make a real effort in keeping the spark alive. If you ask most people, even though they might not have romance in their relationship, they still have love the person.

    I think that keeping the spark alive is important in maintaining a healthy relationship.

    Have to agree with the lady who answered previously.   As an old guy who's been married to the same woman for fifty years I can say this:  you need time away together on a fairly regular basis.   I mean without the kids.  An ocassional 'dirty weekend' by the sea or up in the mountains will do wonders to keep 'the spark' aglowing.
