Why do people who are totally against gay marriage look at these blogs?

Like honestly if they hate us so much why read what we have to say?

They just like to fight back! And argue, upset other people.

The people who are against gay marriage are usually the ones most likely to look for opportunities to say so, hence, they go online and throw their opinion around with repercussion. Its much easier to complain in writing than it is in person.

I agree! I kinda think its more about curiousity or lack of understanding on their part! I am straight but I support the gay community. You guys are people, too

I just think its because they are just dumb, and hypocritical.
They hate gays, yet they go looking for gay forums just to rant... They obviously don't have a life and have to read about other peoples and comment on others lives to make themselves feel better about their own crappy life.

They're too unhappy in their own marriages, so they try and ruin it for everyone else. How else would they find the time to make it their concern what other people do with their hearts?

I think you will enjoy this hub since it's so closely related to your question.

Because they want somewhere anonymous to air their irrational, bigoted rants and try to hurt others - because in a democratic country, their frothing and fuming doesn't really get much respect for them and they know it.

Sometimes I think it's because of curiosity. Sometimes, to fuel a judgmental fire. I welcome it though regardless of the reason because it allows us to enter into a dialogue (even ones where we won't influence a belief system). It helps us keep a pulse on the ever important issues we face.

I have constantly wondered the exact same thing. lol, I think it is because those people have nothing better to do than to beat people over the head with their beliefs and try hard to force us to see and live their way. Obviously, it never worked for me.
