There's a lot of information missing that is critical to answering this question.

The best general advice I can give to win over a man who wants to still be friends is to be just that. Be a great friend to him and at the same time show him how desirable you are. I don't mean throw yourself at him, just be who you are. The person he was attracted to in the first place. Be subtle if you flirt. Make fun comments that are pushing the envelope but don't ever make him feel like you are being pushy. You may want to date other people and remind him what he is missing. Be careful though. If he thinks he has lost you to another guy...

To be any more specific I'd have to know more about both of you and your relationship.

Well, since he seems to be the one that wants to be "just friends", there isn't much chance of winning him back, especially if you try to force it.  If he wants you back, he'll make that decision himself.  There's nothing that you personally can do.

Well Karma, it sounds like he is being truthful with you by telling you he just wants to be friends. Meaning- that he doesn't feel like he wants to be your "boyfriend".

So in effect by saying you want him back, you are saying-" It's ok...walk all over me...I love you even if you don't love me back.

You are opening the door to being the biggest doormat of all time, now and in future relationships. He's not the only fish in the sea. Its a big world out there.

Go catch another fish that likes what you have to offer. And  can give you what you want and deserve in a relationship.

The answer to "I just want to be friends" is as individual as dna to a person.  I can only say what I know...

My heart can not cope with being your friend, your employee, your coworker only because I have gone and fallen in love with out your permission or consent.  I know I should not have done this, but I have and am not able to change how I feel.  I am sorry.  I can not stand by and watch you form relationships.  I love you too much.

Back off - nurse my wounds - count as lost love - grieve my loss and learn to let go, but let go.  He is already gone.  He is placing you in a position that does not romantically involve you.

i think you should wear something hot and wear make-up too then make him jealous and lie and  tell you got a date if it  didn't work so.. just try to be friend. just like me and my boyfriend when he just want to be friend.
