Is it usual for a woman to be more affectionate in a relationship?
And what if roles a reversed, a woman acting more like a man ie emotionally - distant, indifferent, and occupied with other things, giving other things higher priority in life than being compassionate.
I'm that kind of woman - more reserved and distant, so I normally have found men to be more affectionate than I am. Other relationships all seem to have their own mix of who is more affectionate, and how they show it.
Tough one to answer for everyone. I think I have the capacity to be quite affectionate in a relationship but I get tired of being attacked! I often feel like I am never given the chance to freely be affectionate. I am single and find that the affection pressure begins on date 1 and is full court press by date 3. I would like a little more time.
I am a man and I have always been the more affectionate one. Until I met the woman I am with now. We are about even, but we swap days, it just depends on how we are a particular day. Everyone has an off day every now and then.
My ex's were always the distant non affectionate ones.
