If you'd had the chance to be with your sweetheart at the other side of the world, would you go?

I'm getting this chance and I'm certainly going after 8 months of being away from eachother. Just for 5 weeks. Going back in December and going to live permantly with him next summer. I'm not the type to think too much in problems. I'm more the type of seeing challenges and how to overcome them. Again I wonder....would you go?

Yes! I would go. Love, companionship, communication and sharing are beautiful things. If you find someone that loves being with you and vice versa, go. I would have the best time ever!

I would and I did, not to the other side of the world, but across the country... I wrote a hub about it: http://algarveview.hubpages.com/hub/Mov … y-for-love

And I would have gone anyway if it was to the other side of the world...

Somehow it's one of the most romantic gestures one can make for the other. I will check out your Hub! Thanks for stopping by here:-)

I did and I'd do it again quite happily! It's much easier now as we have the internet and mobile communications for contacting those we left behind. One click and they have your message instantly!

It's definitely easier but I have to say that skyping with your loved one for 8 months in a row, can be quite frustrating. Especially when something sad happens. Not being able to comfort someone. Yet, our love survived the time and the distance!

I did! I moved to Florida from Dublin to be with my sweetheart and I don't regret a minute of it. Life is nothing without risks. If you never take a risk, you will always lose, but if you do take a risk, you just might win smile

Like your way of thinking! Risks are all about the possibility to a wonderful new chapter in life!
