will you tell your best friend that you are secretly in-love with him/her or will you just bury your feelings?

Thinking about it I don't think I would. If they are my best friend and I ask them out I ask them out, I wouldn't just say "Yo, I love you" but I might come to the point I would fully date them.

I have had a girl who was a best friend say she loved me before fully, we were young at the time (ages 9-11) but it did happen! Im friends with her still today (10-11 years later).

It could be a good thing or a bad thing to tell a friend that you love them. I've never personally experienced it but I know that if the other person doesn't feel the same way, it can completely ruin their whole friendship and it'll be awkward to be around you from then on. If they feel the same way then great, see where the relationship goes. It's always best to be honest because many people go without speaking up and end up losing the person that they could have had a future with. You've got to take chances in life once in a while and I think for people in that kind of situation, this is one of those chances.

Nope. If I do tell him, then it can ruin the relationship forever! We neither get them in our life as soul mates nor as friends! Then that would indeed be a huge loss to us! Why risk a beautiful relationship to establish another?
Sometimes the best way to stay close to someone is by being just a friend! smile
