I like being around other people, and I also like my own company.

I prefer companionship if it's people I'm close to.

Oh golly, I'm such an introvert I'm not sure how i've been married for so long. I absolutely need my own company a lot of the time, but also enjoy being with immediate family. I would never choose being with another person just for the sake of not being alone. I need alone time. Luckily, my family understand this.

The more time that I spend around people, the less patience that I seem to have with them..............

Even as a child, I was content with my own company.

I will exit a social gathering , long before it is 'over'...........

I am just not good at small talk, and having my time spent on ' appearances'.

I've always been a loner and don't need a lot of social interaction.  But as I have gotten older, I don't enjoy being alone as much as I used to.

I'd say both. Depends on my humor. ^___^

I recently discovered that I like a balance of the two. Sometimes I prefer to be alone and don't mind going out to eat, seeing movies, etc. by myself but then I have phases where I need someone to talk to. Besides the dog.
