It means you have dreamt about a colleague, nothing more, nothing less.
From the perspective of Jungian depth-psychology, it means that there is something about that person that you admire (if the dream was positive) or want to work out (if the dream was challenging or a nightmare). The key is not to relate to the other person. Instead, ask, "What is the issue here for me? What quality does this person have which has activated unconscious interest?" If it is a positive quality, develop it in yourself. If it is a harmful quality, work on releasing your judgments around it.
I guess it would mean different things depending on whether you are male or female...
Is this question directed to same sex or male? If it's male directed I couldn't tell you but if it is a female who dreams about another female, I think there could be any number of reasons. When I've had dreams with females in them, like my mom it's usually because I've been thinkin of her or it's because you are closely related to them in some way, even inadvertently.I believe it is because they have an affect on or play some role your life.
