Why sex before marriage is important to men now-a-days?

Has the sacred value of keeping oneself pure until marriage no longer stand?

You are ignoring the fact young women have sexual desires also.

Peeples, thank you for your comment.  Not at all am I ignoring the fact that women have sexual urges too.
The question is not about urges but about abstaining from sex until marriage.

I understand that however it  seems you are thinking women are not having sex before marriage as much as men and I doubt that is the case.

I agree with peeples..it takes two to tango. And there are still a few gentle men out there. I think it has to do with influences found everywhere such as movies, songs, books, neighbors who got pregnant before marriage and so on.

Your question is misled, methinks. That the level of pre-marital sex is greater today than in the past is sheer illusion. Pre-marital sex has been going on at a fairly steady rate since the dawn of marriage/monogamy as a social institution. Self reports being highly inaccurate, the number of claimed female virgins in the 1950's, for example, do not nearly match the number of claimed males having had sex. The truth is somewhere in the middle. That being said, even Mary and Joseph were accused of having pre-marital sex, and even though they did not, at that time, it would not have been unusual for a betrothed (not yet married) couple to turn up pregnant.

I may get slated for this, but physical chemistry is important within a healthy relationship. With that in mind, I wouldn't want to get tied down with marriage to a guy who had no skills in the bedroom.
Im not saying that things can't be improved, but I'm sure people will know what I'm talking about when, sometimes, things just don't work between two people that way. So then your stuck with either a marriage full of resentment, an affair or a divorce. I must say, trying before i get tied in is definitely the easy option for me smile

that depends on the men. Some men wants to know the partner sexual desire on the bed. If she behaves like a ragged doll on the bed, no point of marrying her and spend the rest of yr life with a ragged doll. Some men are born a playboy which I hate the most. Hurt the female feelings.

I think very few men ever think about "saving themselves" for marriage .And if there weren't any double standards or societal pressures applied towards girls/women you'd see there is very little difference among the genders when it comes to having (sexual urges). Even with things the way they are more and more women are having premarital sex. It's not simply because they are being "pressured" into it . Better birth control methods and the sense of being "equal" to men have contributed to these changes.
At the end of the day "Life is a personal journey". Those that want to wait until marriage to have sex still can.

It isn't. I've always thought that religion would be much better if we just left penises out of the subject altogether. There is biologically no such thing as a "pure" or "impure" woman or man with regards to sex. Biologically, there are only those with experience, those without experience, those with venereal disease, those without it, and those who are pregnant and those who are not. These are the only sexual states that I recognize. Virginity is an abstract concept some lunatic in Egypt developed 6,000 years ago or so and it has stuck with us.
