To me, it can only be lust and nothing else... many people confuse lust with love.

What is love? There are many definitions, but I like biologist Jeremy Griffith definition which is concise and says it all in just 2 words: "unconditional selflessness". This implies sacrifice. And why would you make sacrifices for someone you hardly know and have just met, when there are so many people in your life that you can make sacrifices for, if you are indeed that loving? LOL.

Really good answer. Love is not possible at first sight.

Definitely lust...we build our relationships daily before we realize what love is all about...a feeling so deep cannot be obtained over a glance. It would ridiculous to claim so.

I personally do not think love at first sight is possible. Of course this depends on your personal beliefs about what love is, but I think that love requires a personal connection. I think it requires really knowing someone inside and out, and that is simply not possible upon first seeing someone. You can be very attracted to someone upon first sight, which could absolutely produce some strong feelings, but love requires more than physical attraction.

Really a good answer. There are a lot of differences between physical attraction and true love.
