What do you give more preference to- love or sex?
What difference do you find in both of them? Aren’t both the same?
I'd have to say love. Sex is a strong desire, but it is only temporary and fleeting. Love stays with you all of the time that you are in love. I certainly don't see them as the same thing. People can have a strong sexual attraction with no underlying love.
People are drawn to love and sex (two different but mutual concepts) because both are an intrinsic part of what it means to be human. In other words, love and sex are a part of who we are as humans.
Definitely I believe it is wiser to rank love above sex; however, being simply a man it has not always been the case for me. Well it is still not, I do enjoy sex with my love and I enjoy love with my sex; therefore, I must conclude neither is given preference at this time. Now when I turn 26 for the third time perhaps (with the exception of the one named Charlie Burns) just perhaps love will conquer sex...
What is love without sex? (Ooophhhs, HubPages complains that my answer is too short. Should I be talking about the birds and the bees?)
I prefer love over sex, because with genuine love there is friendship and actually liking your mate instead of disliking them. Sex is an act that can be added along with genuine love, which can be a great relationship when combining the two. But physical relations without love is a waste of time, energy, priorities, and more.
I certainly place LOVE above SEX. Love becomes more and more purified in loneliness but the sex has not such a quality. Sex may be cruel in nature but love never. Truth of life is love and not sex.
