How do you deal with stupid people? Maybe that was not nice....
Sometimes we can't avoid the stupid people. It seems as though they're everywhere and are more of them out there compared to intelligent ones.
No one is really stupid they just have their way of being and doing. What you have to do is recognize that they are who they are, an individual and you can learn to deal with them or not deal with them. If you choose to deal with them then that is the choice that you made. If you choose not to deal with them again, that is a choice that you made. Either way you have a decision on whether or not to deal with this person. I hope this helps.
minagli....."no one is really stupid?"......Where do you live and how's the housing market?
what does that have to do with anything? please save your negativity for someone who cares to stoop to your level which is probably below zero. thank you.
If you are wise, deal with everyone as if you are wise; don't let your opinion of anyone decide how you deal with them.
I try very hard to be nice to everyone because we all deserve that. However, I reserve the right to do a little retrospective eye rolling or head shaking as I look back on my day.
I actually don't know any stupid people. I've met many misguided people, people with issues and problems to overcome. I think we spend far too much time judging people to be this or that, when we are all complex beings with many facets, and to focus on just one aspect of assumption is, well, really ...STUPID!
It is challenging when people just don't get it, but I try to be patient and think of the times that I may have been running on empty. The kind of stupidity that really irks me is that which is driven by extreme bias or hatred which won't allow people to see beyond the tips of their noses.
I think it depends on you on how you view a particular person. You can avoid them or learn to look past their stupidity but remember what may seem stupid for you may seem ingenious to others
I just nod and smile at them and then walk away thanking god that I am not that way.
When encountering an individual that lacks intelligence or common sense, I attempt to assist them. I often find a way to expose them to the things that will improve their intelligence and common sense so they are not seen as "stupid" again.
As an individual that deals through strategic thinking, I find that the only "stupid people" are those that judge others as "stupid" and do nothing to correct that assessment.
Limited knowledge and experience is no reason to declare anyone "stupid".
The Forrest Gump author, Winston Francis Groom, Jr., said it best - "Stupid is, as stupid does."
I find them amusing or I just ignore them if I can't laugh at it. That's why they are here, for entertainment. They are not to be taken seriously. http://srit.hubpages.com/hub/Free-of-Negativity

Every day I see some of the most stupidest people having children. Usually, at least it seems to me, those with less intelligence keep having child after child, often when they cannot afford them. I sometimes think it would be better for all if there was an IQ requirement for having children. I...

The Duning-Kruger effect represents a cognitive bias in people who are doubly incompetent – sure of themselves even when they are wrong and unable to recognize their own cluelessness. This may be due to selective exposure to facts that support their pre-conceived notions while disregarding...
