If you would like your question answered properly, It would be best to elaborate.
"Is cheating getting worse?" could relate to a number of things such as
    cheating on a test,
    cheating in a card game,
    cheating on your significant other,
    cheating death,
    cheating on a diet,
"cheating the system" of the money game,
cheating while playing Call of Duty split screen by looking at the other player's screen,
I could go into detail for each of those, but I think it would be much more efficient if you elaborated.

Yes cheating is increasing most partners feel the need to want more from their relationships. This is if you are talking about relationships. People grow and change and look for different partners.

Yes it is getting worse and the reason why is actually scriptural. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 states "But know this, that in the last days+ critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God,

We are living in the last days, peoples morals in general have decreased therefore a selfish attitude dominates on a global scale. Mo loyalty, self control, and loving pleasures contributes to all the cheating you see today in relationships.
