   Better not kiss my sweetie anywhere when she's sleeping for two reasons:
   
   1.  Her disabilities include so many "hurting parts" that simple--even the most gentle--human touch causes her pain.
   
   2.  She's a double black belt...and sometimes she wakes up really, really fast.

    I usually kiss him on the forehead or temple in such a circumstance. It doesn't disturb him if he's really sleeping. If he is partly awake, he smiles and shifts my direction without opening his eyes. It's a sweet innocent kind of kiss, just like the sweet innocent look on his face when he's sleeping. Life doesn't always have to be like that, but sleep should.
