Trans Women and Straight Guys-The New Dating Scene?

    Is this more than an internet "craze"?
    Is it happening more and why is that possible?
    I am older and a trans girl.  Recently, I've found I've been approached by more guys in straight venues.
    I've started to research info about how the process works (or should work) between the two most unlikely match ups in human nature.
    Do you have input?
    I've heard everything from real women aren't real anymore to trans lover guys aren't straight anyhow!
    What may you say????

    ...well this is kinda confusing? ....i don't know...don't have anything to add really....

    ...well one thing to add...what's this about real women not being real anymore....i'm scratchin' my head over that one....guess i'd understand it better if i was transgendered....

    I don't understand why this is a problem.  Is it a written rule that the person dating a trans person must be queer?  It would seem a likely progression after a certain amount of years out of transition, that passing is the norm and straight men should have no reason not to ask you out as they are assuming you are a woman, which you are.  I guess it's like this, I don't think of trans people as "used to be ____" (fill in old gender). 

    It is also possible that there is an overall greater acceptance of transgender people, however slight it might be.  But, it seems the above makes more sense.  Be safe!  Just my thoughts...
