   Is the death of Jesus on the cross meaningful to you? If so how?
   
   This is for Christians or believers of Jesus specifically but others can also give their opinions. Why did Jesus die to save humanity? What truly is the meaning of Jesus' crucifixion? Can you connect with the depths of His meaningful death for humanity?

   Absolutely.  Without Jesus's sacrifice on the cross we would have no salvation of every being allowed into Heaven.  Without God sending his only begotten son to save us, there would be no hope for mankind.  He made it so easy for us to come to the father through him, by just repenting of our sins.  If God didn't love us, He wouldn't have died for us.

   Do tell... who is this "Jesus" character... .and how is it that he got killed by being crucified?  I would like to know more.  My brother-in-law is a "personal injury" attorney and will take the case on a contingency basis if it's strong enough....

   Jesus gave the ultimate sacrifice, his life so that we all could live without the original sin.  You could say that body piercing saved our lives!!

   The reason why I suggested that this question is basically for Christians or believers in Jesus is because I know that there are many people in the world who don't know Jesus, and the Bible...
   ackman1465, I suggest that you research about Jesus in the internet if you truly don't know him.
   The death of Jesus in the cross must happen according to the "Plan of Redemption".
   Adam was created by God and was meant to be perfect "according to God's image.." But Adam sinned because of his love to Eve. He knew that Eve committed sin against God's law when she was tempted by the serpent to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree... therefore Eve must die as a punishment...but Adam loved her, he cannot lose her so he also ate the fruit.
   They both die a "spiritual death" that day...they saw how bare and vulnerable they were without God's power to enfold them. They were driven out from the garden of Eden...which means, they had to work hard in order to live.
   The connection between Man and God was cut off...Adam and Eve sinned and their children and all humanity were born carrying with them the sins of the original parents who sinned against God.
   But God is Love...so the Plan of Redemption brought Jesus to the scene, the Bible says in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." Jesus has to shed his blood...the blood that is symbolic to wash off the inherited sin...Jesus blood on the cross is the only "Reconnection" power between  Man and God. Jesus is the "Religion"...this word means "to tie again", to "Reconnect".
   For me...Jesus' death on the cross is the only power that keeps me away from a "life of hell" on earth, even when we are still alive...this life is full of man's foolishness that emanate from his sinful heart..

   Um, yeah. God created the universe, and Jesus came to show us how it's done -to be a good human.
   Dying on the cross is deemed necessary to redeem our fallen human nature, or at least what I believe.

   If Jesus had not of died on the cross there would have been not basis for celebrating Easter. The answer, "Why did Jesus die to save humanity," is so vast a concept that it will take a hub to do justice to it. Again, discussing the true meaning of Jesus' crucifixion will take a hub to do it justice. The one scripture says it all, "For God so loved the World, that it gave, his only begotten Son, that "whosoever believeth," upon him, should not "Die," but should have, everlasting Life."
   As I have said, I could spend time writing 600 to 1200 word, writing on this subject, just to scratch the surface.
