Because people hold on to hate and to hurt more than they should. I try not to let a bruised ego dominate my life, but I admit sometimes I do like to be an evil little stinker and make sure somebody who hurts me ends up hurting just a little bit too.
Read Deuteronomy 32:35, Romans 12:19, and Hebrews 10:30. It is very natural as human beings to take our problems into our own hands. God does not expect us to allow ourselves to be walked on, but alsoo look at the perfect example of Christ Jesus; Responsibility is different from vengeance. Besides, God alone handles it all best. Then some people go through the same problems that they have caused others. Matthew 5 is a great lesson fron Jesus. The world asks the best way to live and deal? All of the answers are in the infallible Word of God, but people don't want it because they think they know better. Really? Then explain why the world is so messed up now. Laws and more laws are made in poor pathetic attempts to "improve" society; do any obey the laws in play now? No- so why will they obey MORE laws? Laws aren't the issue....it's poor morality. If people would study the Law of God, which is fulfilled thru love to God and man (john 14:15 and Romans 13:10) then there would be absolutely NONE of the crimes and issues destroying us, our relationships and social interactions or the world God created perfect that we, humanity, have destroyed.
#To satisfy their ego
#To make the other person realise what they have done.
It's Ok to take revenge with the motto of making the other person realise something.
It's going to be good for them too, in the long run.
But going overboard and doing it just for the sake of one's ego might make them regret it later.
Well many people agree with the saying an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth, though they take it in the wrong context thinking it means they have a right to do whatever they can to get back at the person hurting them. In reality that saying both punishes the villain and prevents him from being overpunished at the same time (one eye = one eye, one tooth = one tooth, you can't harm him more than he hurt you).
To put it simply, cause of pride and that they hold grudges. And the only way they are going to satisfy themselves is to do vengeance.
Newton's 3rd law of Motion says " To every action there is an opposite and equal reaction" but Law of Emotions says " To every action there is similar and more pronounced reaction" if emotional quotient is constant.
because they don't know how to forgive and they are not magnanimous to forgive easily.

Why religious people grieve so much about death and are 'scared to death' of dying if, when they die, the'll be with God forever? What's wrong with dying anyway? Your born condemned to death...Is it not?

~ Why do you need to follow any religion? ~I am just curious as to why people need to, or choose wanting to believe in, follow, and participate in any religious affiliation? What drive people to believe in their religions? Is it simply because of tradition, upbringing, or an actual spiritual...
