   Have you ever wonder what it was like to follow Jesus during His ministry 2000 years ago?
   
   Often time I have thought about this. Wondering what it would have been like to have personally have known Jesus. To learn directly from him in the parables of the Kingdom of God and the many other things He taught.  And to have to chance of being one ofHis desciple, learning direct from Him.

   Very exciting, I would say, as well as truly inspirational. Spiritual Masters as you would know, are direct descendants from God. So apart from the spiritual ministry, miracles, power of oratory and so forth. They also have the capacity to directly lift us up through Grace. To be at the feet of a man of His calibre, would have been a great privilege and a great responsibility.
   
   Would have been hard work, as He required discipline, faith, intensity, enthusiasm one-pointedness, devotion ....... I could go on. But it would have been very rewarding.
   There would have been the jokes and childlike humour, as well as the planning for the manifestation of the mission: the hard physical and inner work. This is always first. But like or even more so than we get from the successful businesses of today, there would have been the perks, let's call them 'graces'.
   
   Spiritual Masters are not ordinary beings. Thy are one with God and wield tremendous capacity. Yet they do this with childlike ease and sweet simplicity. There is much more, but it all lies in the personality of the Master and the way He chooses to go. We know one of the Christ's strengths was authority, so it would have been interesting to see Him challenging the scribes, sadduces, pharises, doctors and elders of the law, as well as the Romans.
   
   Still, there would have been an urgency, a sense of speed, as He knew His time was short and he was all about God's Kingdom being manifest on earth. He was fiery and did not waste time.

      Manatita44- Could you please explain this term or by what you mean by Spiritual Masters? The reason I ask is that in my studies of the bible I have not seen  this term and I don't use it. Many thanks for your answer

      A direct descendant of God; God made flesh; the Infinite manifesting in and through the finite; the Formless expressing Itself in  and through the Form. Hope this helps.

   Well man44 gives a very good answer and makes some valuable points.
   
   So I am just going to say, it would of been an iconic mission. One that would never be forgotten. It would of been inspirational, tough in some ways but at the same time I think there was fun added to that.
   
   Jesus did things that no one could figure out, like why he went to the temple he destroyed a couple times before he actually destroyed it. He was mystifying, yet exciting. They never knew what to expect from Jesus, yet he never seen himself higher than anyone else.
   
   I wish he was walking the streets now, wow that would be historic. No celeb,no man, no woman/child/authority figure could ever be more historic than meeting Jesus. No one is good enough to worship like Jesus/God
   
   Just to listen to his parables would of been so astonishing. I do not think there is a man on this earth that would say no to walking/talking with Jesus.

   I wonder if I would have been one of those who followed the excitement to see the signs and wonders, or if I would have taken His teaching to heart and become one of the women who were disciples, but not one of the twelve? I like to think that I would have been one who followed to listen, to learn, like Mary of Bethany, and to help minister to the needs of Jesus and His disciples, like Martha. They were tough times and when pressed even Peter denied knowing our Lord - three times. I wonder.

      BlossomSB-Yon have made a good point. Without hindsight it is possible a person would question Jesus teaching at the time. I asked this question assuming we knew then what we know now and followed His teaching because we already knew. Thank you
