What is the TREE OF LIFE ?
Prov. 11: 30 - The fruit of the righteous is a TREE OF LIFE.
Prov. 13:12 - Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is the TREE OF LIFE.
Prov. 15:4 - A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:
Rev. 2: 7 - To him that overcometh will give to eat the TREE OF LIFE
That is a good question, I believe it's the original tree that Eve talked Adam into eating from. The same tree that was called the Tree of Knowledge. It is also in Revelations.

" Eden Restored
22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations."
Gen. 2:9 - the TREE OF Knowledge ,
Is that not the TREE Adam and Eve eat from ?
abbaelijah, correct. The two trees are not the same.
The "Tree of Life" is the path back to God and to everlasting life.
The "Tree of Life" as mentioned in Genesis is a matrix of concepts portrayed in Jewish mysticism (Kabbalah) as ten sefirot arranged in a very specific pattern. I have found this Tree embedded in 2 chapters of Genesis. I describe this in my new book, "The Bible's Hidden Wisdom, God's Reason for Noah's Flood" (Amazon Kindle). I also talk about this in a few of my Hubs.
Ok !

What would the world look like today if man obeyed God and didn't eat from the tree of knowledge, hence didn't die, yet was still commanded to go forth and multiply?Would this also reflect on all other living things on the planet? Wouldn't the earth be piled up with people, animals, insects,...
