Islam is only way to heaven - your views on such claims?

   Yesterday met a religious guy who is muslim...He claims that only followers of Islam have possibility of going to heaven...what r ur views on such claims?

      The people of islam is under the Law,if you steal you are a theaf,if you lie you are a lie-er,if you kill you are a murderer.There is no time off for good behavier and no plea barganing,you will be judged for what you do

   Hi every one,
   
   The basic belief of going to heaven is based upon the belief. As we all know that whenever the new Messenger or prophet comes the previous prophet hood finishes. In the same way, as the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came on this world. The Jesus prophet hood finished and all the rules that Muhammad brought from God will be applied to this world. This simply implies that Worship to Allah and following Muhammad(Islam) is the only way to heaven

      @mohsin why follow muhammad?....he was mere human...why not follow allah instead...muhammad died , allah lives (atleast as per concept)

            @david ya that is one theory like there r theories on jesus...he was god , he was son of god , he was son of cleopatra , he was buddist etc etc...but truth is jesus was messenger of allah...so dont buy false theories...allah is name of god who created universe...one and only one god...

            Al+Ilah=Allah. 'Al' means 'The' and 'Ilah' means 'God'. So Allah means 'The God'.One and only God of whole universe.

   Sounds to me like every other religion on the world - do it my way or you won't get rewarded.  Or you will be punished.  Or whatever - the key is "Believe as I do or else".
