I just read this quote this morning that said: "Talent is God's gift to you. what you do with it is your gift to God."
So it made me think about what my gift or talent was. It made me wonder if any of you have a special gift or talent. Look forward to hearing from you.
That would be highly offensive to anyone who lacks talent and to those who have talent that reject your God.
Everyone has some kind of tallent. Unfortunately we most often do not pursue a career in the area which we were most tallented at. We may get married and/or have a child then ecconomics nessitates finding a job NOW to support that choice. Everyone has a tallent of some sort. but when we travel the road of less resistence we often miss that opportunity to "Show it Off"
A Troubled Man:
Everyone has a gift of some kind, whether it be just being kind to other people, letting someone ahead of you in traffic or in line at the supermarket etc....You don't nessisarily have to be a scholar or a musician or dancer etc... Everyone has a talent or gift of some kind. I think one of yours is being the best arguer, you seem to love argueing about everything. And I never said you had to believe in God. It was just a quote that I thought was interesting. I wonder why you answer questions that you are not interested in at all. Do you like arguing? Is there ever a time when you can actually make a nice comment?
First. No one lacks talent. They simply don't identify their unique characteristics as talent.
Second. The only ones highly offended would be those looking to be offended. How in the world is any portion of the OP offensive? Simply because someone might consider your talent a gift from God doesn't mean you have to, or that you have to be offended.
To the OP....I only have one talent that I am aware of. I am thankful that I am a jack of all trades and master of none. I suppose, being able to figure things out and do for myself is a talent; of sorts.
Thank you Emile R: That is a great talent to be a jack of all trades and being self sufficient. I would say that makes you highly talented and the gift for figuring things out is a great gift indeed. There are many that can't do half of what you can.!!!
Zelkiiro:You have great comedic responses to some of the threads,so that is a talent in and of itself!!! thanks for sharing
Training dogs. And I love my talent, which is also my profession.
Great agilitymach: That is a wonderful talent that not many have. Like a dog whisperer. Thanks for sharing your talent!
My Talent is my life gifts. So Everyday is new for me like Celebrate. Life is God Gift.
Mumasboxes:That is a great attitude to carry with you in this life. Thanks for sharing your gift, keep celebrating never stop.

I was wondering wether or not I could afford a Christmas this year. I was thinking how much better off we could all be if we really bit the bullet and didn't have the usual end of the year splash out. I would rather have save it and start 2012 off witha bit of breathing space. I estimate...

There is a strain of hubbers that seem to be out to argue instead of debate. To call one an idiot for having a different point of view. To defend against real questions with semantics. To speak as fools disguised by verbal acrobatics and mental gymnastics. Why do people need so much to be offended?...
