I thought a lot as I'm only 18 and have not experienced life so much but I think a lot most of it is useless and I came up with a conclusion that life is about choices. What do you think.
Useless is a bad way to put it, my dear. Life is about whatever you want it to be about. Find those things that bring you happiness, that are close to your heart, love the people closest to you, and try to live without regrets (I don't mean be completely inconsiderate of others, but to follow your moral compass). Do what makes you happy, and help others if you can.
I am an existentialist. So, I don't necessarily believe in fate or some kind of preordained destiny. But life still has worth. You just have to find what that means for you.
Try to live without regrets is very hard thing as i have seen and heard and processed ,, people usually regret the choices they made mostly 70% of them they find it hard to accept and wish they could have done more.Regrets kill your happiness and develop vices to live without regret is just a try only enlightened people can live without regrets.
No, just be true to who you know you are and what you think is right. It's that simple.
Life is about living it and making the best out of it that you can while you are here. What happens after that is no longer in your control and cannot be your concern because once it ends, your physical body knows nothing else
Your life is what you make it shaped by your life choices. If you really want to learn about life, you need to travel. Go back packing around the World, experience different cultures, peoples, and cuisine.....especially the cuisine. Do it soon whilst you are still young, before you get married, sucked into a career or a mortgage, as when these things happen, you wont have the time or money to go anywhere.
If I was to say just one thing it would be to make every effort to live a life less ordinary.
That's as good a place as any to start. I like it.
Life is about freedom within boundaries. Ultimately life is about fulfilling the dreams, goals and ambitions that arise up within you. If you are 18, you are finally out of jail (oops, I mean high school) and can find yourself and can carry on with your path. Start walking! Have Fun! A junior college (very inexpensive here in California.) is a great place to start. You can explore your interests and discover what you would like to study or pursue as a career. Life is about fulfilling your own
Joy of Life.
Some people get right to it and love making money. Some already know what they want to do with their lives. 18 is a great age. Don't waste it. Build your foundations today for success and prosperity tomorrow.
Life is about sucking all the energy out of the environment. It is our destiny to consume until there is nothing left.
lol. Lovely.
"King Solomon had it all – wealth, fame, wisdom, did whatever he wanted to do, created whatever his heart desired, and the list goes on. He tried it all – He married hundreds of women for political reasons and in addition he had hundreds of concubines. GOD gave Solomon the gift of wisdom but he did not use it the way GOD intended. GOD allowed him to try all that the world had to offer only to find that the only thing in life that brings lasting joy and peace is obediently serving GOD. Solomon learned this valuable lesson late in his life. GOD’S intent is for all people to learn from the life of Solomon and hopefully avoid his mistakes.
Ambition is good and part of GOD’S plan for HIS children but they must seek to obediently serve HIM and not to lose their perspective. It is all about having the right relationship with GOD through CHRIST and maintaining that relationship on a daily basis regardless of our vocation.
It is easy for any believer’s head to be turned away from GOD toward other things because that is the nature of the flesh. Our flesh wants to rule and be satisfied. Satan knows our weakness and he will make sure that temptation will cross our path. Anything to prevent us from obediently serving GOD.
JESUS has a very clear message to all believers in Matthew 6:33 - 33 But seek first the kingdom of God[17] Other mss omit of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you."

I read What men Live by its awesome
Tells you that people are not told what they need so their life's journey is to find what they need
ud1093,
In a lot of ways you are correct-life is about choices. People choose how to live their life. People choose how they're going to govern themselves. People choose what they will and will not believe.
The trick is making the right choices. So what are the right choices think of it like bowling you only know if you won after the game is been played.

Is life the only thing God gave to those with horrible lives? Is that worth faith? In a journey to understanding a thought process by many, I see many believe in God because of all he has given them. What about people who have been given nothing and have led a hard life? Are they believing because...

I've felt empty of emotion for two years now. I can't seem to get over this,I'm tired of faking the happiness for the people around me. I'm tired of the only thing I do feel is sadness. I don't know what to do and I could use some advice.
