I've yet to find one that doesn't discriminate.
Not the Truthful Religion; those claiming to follow a religion could err for which the individual or the group of individual are responsible not the Relgion.
Then there is no such thing as a truthful religion...only man made foolishness that pretends to have, at its basis, love for all.
Sorry, I don't agree with you that the revealed religion is man-made.
We know man writes all kinds of fiction, we know man writes all kinds of lies in an effort to control others.
What we DON'T know is if there is a god out there in some other hidden universe. Without any indication there is such a thing, it seems quite reasonable to think that the fertile imagination of man has created yet another god, just as it has thousands of others.
Do you mean that the Atheists Agnostics never lie?
He didn't even say deist's lie. He said they imagine.
That's quite a stretch to get that out of what I said, because I did not mention atheists or agnostics. Not even desists unless you think that anyone inventing a god will believe it it themselves - a pretty far fetched idea IMHO.
You could disagree with me on the fact that gravity exists as well, but, in the end, your wishful thinking and total denial doesn't compare to reality.
That's the problem with having a discussion with religious people, they have no intention of using logic or reason(elements which are essential for any HONEST discussion)
Even if it is god inspired it is clearly man made. Who else would have made it?
If the only true religion is the one that isn't racist, then that means the only true religion(s) is/are Buddhism and Shintoism. And I've yet to encounter any tree spirits...
Buddha also received Revelation from the One-True-God Allah Yaweh; hence Buddha also followed the Truthful Religion; I don't deny that.
It is a foremost attribute of the truthful religion that it is not racial.
You do understand that the bible talks a lot about God's chosen people right and how he even condones incest?
Let's see now, how many differing races were chosen to be with Him in heaven?
Oh yes, just the one. But it was not, of course, either racial or racist. Right.
It simply means that like other nations the One-True-God had not ignored Jews and has conversed with them also as he has conversed with others through the righteous messengers prophets. if the Jews were only the chosen people why do they sin like others?
I quote here from Wikipedia:
"Throughout history, various groups of people have considered themselves as chosen people by a deity for a purpose, such as to act as the deity's agent on earth. In monotheistic faiths, like Abrahamic religions, references to God are used in constructs such as "God's Chosen People". Modern anthropology regards these claims as a form of ethnocentrism, although religious authorities would argue that this is unfounded."
Does this mean you don't believe the OT to be true?
Bible is as true as Gospel of Buddha or Bhagavad Gita of Krishna.
Does this mean you don't believe the Bible to be true?
Bible where it is close to the original Word Revealed is truthful else diluted with truth and mixed with the corrupted texts also.
And who determines what is the truth? You don't think a God could have gotten this right?
No, gods can never get their sacred scriptures right the first time. They all need the attention of specific men to finish up the project correctly. Paar, perhaps.
Due to the free will bestowed to man; the literal Word or its meaning could get corrupted or the meaning could be last in the translation.
The One-True-God could revive the Word and its meaning again under a system.
There is however no compulsion in religion.
There is not, nor ever has been, any sign that a One-True-God will revive the Word, any word. No god has reached down and corrected the bible, for example.
Why would you then make such a claim? Because you wish it to be true?
The core truthful teachings of Moses and Jesus has been revived and secured by Qur'an.
But neither book has but a small amount of truthful words and certainly most of both of those tales are not factual.
How can one "secure" the other then? Because you wish it to be true?
Oh, you mean the book that describes the earth as egg shaped and describes the sun as orbiting the earth?
The funny part is that they were partially right - the earth is not a sphere - they just had the actual shape wrong.
We were not discussing the shape of the Earth or how it orbits.
The topic is that the truthful religion is not racial; it provides guidance to all humanity, without compulsion, in the moral and spiritual realms.
No - the topic was core teachings of scripture. Including that the earth is egg shaped.
Back up a few posts and you'll find it. In your own post, no less.
This is not the core teachings of religion.
I mentioned core teachings of Jesus in the thread "All revealed religion in the origin are truthful";please read them or I should provide them again for you here.
Of course it's a core teaching! Things like this tell us about book itself; it's core truth (or lack thereof) and whether it should be believed. Things like this are extremely core to answering the question of whether to believe or not!
I understand that many people gloss over these things as if they aren't there, but they matter far more than anything else in the book. More than the tales, more than the instructions, more than the supposed history. Because if they are false to fact, the rest of the book is suspect as well.
I don't agree with you.
It is the prerogative of the founder of a religion to describe the core.
No it's not. It is absolutely the prerogative of the reader to first determine the veracity of the author. If that author lies, or makes too many mistakes and errors, it doesn't matter what the author thinks is important; it is of no value to anyone as no one can trust it to be true.
That some will trust the author in spite of such egregious errors as an egg shaped earth or the sun circling the earth does NOT make the author trustworthy and does NOT give the author the right to choose what is more important.
Please quote from Qur'an that it is a text book of science.
Sura 79:30 reads
Wal'arda ba'da dhalika dahaha
He made the earth egg-shaped.
I mention the verse 79/30 or 79/31 along-with the verses in the context:
[79:28] Are you harder to create or the heaven that He has built?
[79:29] He has raised the height thereof and made it perfect.
[79:30] And He has made its night dark, and has brought forth the morn thereof;
[79:31] And the earth, along with it, He spread forth.
[79:32] He produced therefrom its water and its pasture,
[79:33] And the mountains, He made them firm
[79:34] All this is a provision for you and for your cattle.

Please prove your point of view.
Qur'an lays down the principles for guidance to ascertain the truth.

Where in the Bible does it say that the Jews are God's "chosen people"?Isaiah 19:25 says Egypt is God's people and Israel is His inheritance? Where in the Bible does it say that the Jews are God's "chosen people"?
