   “But I noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why you left my side when I needed you most. The Lord said, “My precious child, I never left you during your time of trial. Where you see only one set of footprints; it was then that I carried you.”

      I have been carried numerous times; when my mother died and I was only 13 years old and when one of my sons died at age 17 years (murdered.)

   So sad to loose love ones. I am glad you are here with us as you were fortunate enough to be carried. Some people may have been a bit too heavy and has been cast on the way side. Not all can or will be carried. As for me, i don't know, I think the Lord has forgotten many of us even though we exalt his name in good and bad times.

      Only when we have been through something great can we truly appreciate His love. The death of people so close to my heart was a bitter pill to swallow. But knowing that they were safe in His arms helped me when I could not help myself. If I am strong -- it is due to His goodness.
