I am, and it's usually fine, we both have our point of views and beliefs that differ. But I did want to get married in a church and by a minister this didn't happen, I compromised and chose outdoor wedding. If you are married to an atheist what was wedding like (church?).Did your family know,we're they accepting of him-/her?
I did a thread on- Atheist married to Christians. It was news to me on how many of these marriages were working out. Ones ulitmate Love is God and the other is nature. What I did find out is these couples were not as hardcore about their beliefs or their way of thinking
I could understand that,it's like your belief in love, overpowers other beliefs you still feel strongly about.I usually turn to my husband when I am in need of comfort over small things and turn to God for all the big stuff.I believe though that God would understand this method.
Atheists are the most disliked group in America. I guess your love for him must override everything else personally on earth. The afterlife would have to wait.
It is too bad that people don't really know the atheists I do, that are kind and caring people with a good heart. maybe people should consider knowing the person more, not just their beliefs but more, before they dislike them.
Not in a church, but by a minister. We wrote our own vows.
We're intelligent, open minded people. We respect each other. So, we have no problems.
so great to hear, another example how love can overcome any prejudice
What would be your ultimate love - BE, in order?
For me
1. The World -50% about me and 50% about everyone esle, and nature.
2. Work, -spend most waking hours doing it
3. A romantic relationship with a woman
4. Family and daughter
5. Food
Sorry God, your not on my top 5 love list, don't know you.
For most people would'nt the ultimate love be God?
very good point of view ..and
great list of priorities.

Why Do Religious People Get So Angry At Atheists? When it comes to Atheism, most religious people get angry and even combative when it comes to this subject. I wonder why, especially in this day and age, one would feel anger towards another human being with a different perception/outlook/belief....
