A secular country or single religion dominated, which one is better?
Definitely secular or you end up with countries like Afghanistan being run by the Taliban.
Mebbe the other way round wheree U have a single religion & nobody to fight in the name of religion against each other.. Pure Hypothesis ....
Depending on what your purpose is. If you want to eradicate a specific religion, you would promote it as the only religion. Religion for some strange reason, i.e. power, brings out the worst of competitive nature. After the original concepts of the religion are dismissed in favor of power, the downward spiral begins. If there is no other religion to compete against they will turn inward and devour each other. Why else would there be so many denominations within the christian church.
If you want to live a happy life then you would definitely choose a secular country.
Secular countries with NO religions at all would be best. Today, most wars are due to religion, even wars over resources. That is because all religions encourage unlimited breeding, which leads to resource and pollution problems, which leads to wars.
Technically, Britain has an "official religion" (Church of England) and our head of state (the Queen) is also head of the church.
However, Britain is a very secular country and people practice a wide variety of religions.
