Christian women and their relationships.
I would like to know why it says in the new testimont that woment should not teach or be heard and should be under and respect their husband but in the old testimont it talks about several female prophets and women in power? I have been going to Church since march last year but this is really confusing me and slightly getting to the feminist side of me. Why shouldn't we teach or be heard?
Also, when I talk to my male Christian friend about dating we always argue. I think a guy deserves a chance so long as they respect me and my beliefs. Apparently the Bible states otherwise. Help?
This is an old question, but caught my eye since i wrote a hub about it. here is the link:

Of course women can govern in the local church and teach all she wants. I've paved the way! There are several articles on my site about equality of gender plus check out my store for books!!! thanks
