What is the CORRECT rendering of Jude 25?
Jude 1:25 (American Standard Version)
25 to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for evermore. Amen.
The CORRECT rendering would be the original version, in either Greek or Aramaic. All other versions are translations, and may be altered in some way as a result. The King James version says, "To the only wise God our Saviour, (be) glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." The word "be" was inserted into the text to give it clarity. It is usually in italics in the Bible because it is not part of the original wording.

Is Christ Jesus the saviour of all mankind, or just some?A savior is someone who has saved or will save, not someone who offers salvation.
