Jesus healed many sick people..but why is it not written that Jesus healed tons of emotional cases?
They didn't have emotional cases back then. What we call emotional cases are simply idiots, crazy people, and bad people.
In Jesus times, emotional diseases were usually regarded as demonic possession. So, the accounts of him casting out demons could have been cases of emotional healing.
It is not written because than people would realize it. If everyone knew that Jesus spoke the Truth ,and that there is no reason for any illness, whatsoever the capitalistic church would go out of business. The Bible is one man's interpretation of another man's, of another man's, of another man's and so on. In addition each of those men was likely commissioned by someone else to transcribe the words, so when that commissioner read the works, they edited them to their own liking. So if the commissioner were establishing a religion and didn't want the masses to realize that the power to live fully and happily in every facet of life was available than he would skew those answers, so that people could not find them as easily, or perhaps omit them all together. In conclusion, what we read today as the Bible, is not the same Bible from centuries ago.
SirHeinsohn seems to have it right.
I was also considering that Jesus also said something to Peter about there being much more to do. So God alone knows how much worse off we would most likely be without such texts as The Bible.
