   White is the color of purity, but those who are evil try to make themselves appear good.  Lucifer was once an angel, but now he is a devil-- but his origins allow him to have a beautiful visage.   He can appear as good and right, but his heart has rotted.

   As far as I'm concerned (particularly this Winter), white is the true color snow (at least until it gets dirty and turns whatever other colors it turns).

   Milk is white, snow is white but I have never heard of colour of death.

   In western Europe people wear black when someone dies.
   In the nature of light,white color is all colors mixed together.
   Black is emptiness,absence of any color.
   So, I would say that true color of death is black.

   I think I get where you are coming from here... Think more of white (light) as the colour of our true being & eternal life beyond this one here, rather than death?

    Black portrays darkness, gloom and self respect. Therefore I feel it is the appropriate color to wear to a funeral to demonstrate your sympathy.

    i thought it was black too, I've never heard it associated with white before, white is usually healing energy

    White to me is a pure color  therefore it cant be associated with death. anyway, it depends on religion and believe but black is always associated with death.

    The colour of death is black - why? When we die, we are shrouded in total darkness ie black.
