    Good question.
Jesus did teach how to pray according to Gods will
Our Father who art in Heaven........Thy will be done......on earth as it is in heaven.

Jesus Christ is the living Will of God.

Always to "His Will"  Man has no power to will anything.

Both, he knows what our will is and our  needs and desires  are before we ask, but he answers our prayers the way he sees best for us according to his will.

The will of God is Jesus Christ, praying according to Gods will is praying in accordance with what you know Jesus Christ achieved for you. hence when we pray "In Jesus Name" we state the will of God and proclaim Jesus. the truth.

Jhn 15:16     Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

To His will..........I do not need a new car, I just need a means to get to work.  I don't need more money for my grocery budget, I need to better manage my money.

I do not need to "fly" my daughter home this weekend, I just need to visit with her soon.

I do not need to feed my meat loving hubby steak............just give me creative uses for any cut of beef...............

God, just help me help myself and those under my care.
