Can you really be a christian/muslim etc if you don't go to church/temple etc?
ABSOLUTLY!!!! going into a building doesnt make you who you are-its who you are when your NOT in those buildings that matters!
Being Born Again makes you the church
Absolutely No. Going to church doesn't make you a christian.
Going to a Mosque makes you a Muslim.
Going to a Roman Catholic Institution makes you Catholic. etc
All houses of worship were built by men, not God.
Not going to church, temple, mosque, etc. does not make you any less of a faithful man or woman in the eyes of God. You can pray in the shower, at your desk, or even at the gym. As long as you believe in God and live a good life, it doesn't matter where you pray, only that you DO.
True religion and faith happens within your heart and is reflected in how you live and treat others. Attending certain buildings or being part of certain organizations are not important

Very rarely do I see a forum thread on Islam. I have not seen an atheist who has started a thread on Islam insulting Mohammed or Allah or just speaking out against them. Christianity and Jesus seem to be the target. I know it is because the US, for example, is considered a...

How did you decide upon and verify your own beliefs? As an atheist who constantly strives to learn and grow in a culture that is largely religious, I'm constantly engaging with theists of many types. Often, they provide philosophical arguments for the existence of God, but I've never met one...
