   A biblical sanctuary!
   
   I asked a priest once if there is such a place as hell - the biblical one is daunting.  He replied that heaven and hell are what we make of it.
   
   I still think it is a sanctuary where goodness surrounds us!

   I'm keeping my fingers crossed it is a place so incredibly wonderous and beautiful and satisfying that I just don't have it in me to imagine how it will be. 
   
   However, I have a sneaking suspicion that we make it ourselves in some way...perhaps by our own thoughts.

   This world in peace, without war, hatred, poverty, starvation, etc.
   So, what causes war and hatred? Re.....n?
   Without war and hatred could poverty and starvation be eliminated?

    As a philosopher, I say "heaven" represents an idea of pure bliss.   As a regular guy, I say my heavenly day goes something like this:
    1) rise early and practice yoga for an hour, 2) have a great cup of coffee and nice breakfast, 3) a round of golf at Mauna Lani South Course on the Big Island with my favorite golf buddies, 4) a glass of beer after shooting a great round, 5) take a shower at home and take a nap, 6) have friends and family over for BBQ, and 7) my sports team win.  My teams?  The Univ. of Hawaii football team, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Mariners.
