Do you think, Astrology is better in guiding your life than your own religion ??
No, and I answer as an Astrologer. Astrology is more complicated than people realize, but it does not have anything to do with religion. It's a science based on where your Sun, Moon, and all the other planets were at your time of birth. Then you have an ascendant, or rising sign. There are 12 houses of Astrology, and each planet is in a house and a sign. You have to interpret all that, plus the distance between all the planets and signs, and it will explain your personality traits, and to some extent, your present and future. But you always have free will to change that. You have to say it's for entertainment purposes if you read professionally, although I have seen so much of what a real horoscope says that I know it's true.
They are kind of alike. both require you to interpret a lot of things. This is an interesting topic.
come on ,we are living in this new age...where science can alone efficient to answers all the question..Everything is now easily explainable through science.Any thing is not left which do not have scientific explanation...you just think!
For astrology ,every astrological concepts is directly linked with any mythology of any civilization or religion. So it obviously not separate from religion. They both are same work to do...for mentally influencing the people to make hope in their life that's it.Total psychological nothing real or reasonable...
According to me religion is basically a mistake by human society and astrology is mixture of good and bad outcome of it.
They both can't guide us in our life.
That is a trick question. Religion can be good and it can be bad. It all depends on who is saying what and why.
Christianity in it's most simple definition teaches love and compassion for all life. If this is the attitude and action taken by those of said faith, that's wonderful.
Astrology like religion can be a guide, but not exactly a 'law' for what is right. Is it better? Maybe. Again it depends on the attitude and actions. I study astrology and it has helped my understanding of personalities and inclinations of people. However, my actions are not dictated by astrology.
Astrology (and I am not an astrologist, see my profile) can be much more accurate than religion. Religion does not guide people in their life; at best it is dogma. At least astrology does have some solid scientific provable facts behind it.

Have the guiding principles of major religions in the world been hijacked or they got it all wrong?Scriptures of some of the major religions in the world have all sorts of opinions on the sexual act. They even outrightly condemn 'Homosexuality' but strangely have no opinion on 'Paedophilia'. To my...
