James the brother of Jesus said "Faith with works is dead"
He also goes on to mention that Abraham was justified by what he "DID" and not by his faith alone. Why is it that people calling themselves christians reject the teaching of James the brother of Jesus and make up stories about having faith without works?
Faith without works is impossible according to the Bible. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for evidence of things not yet seen ( manifested). The just live by faith.
Faith moves God for without faith it is impossible to please God.
The Bible talks about the measure of faith, why would God give us something that has no power to work. Everything about God is about seeing His awesome power.
But you have to be in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ to see faith in action.
It takes faith to follow Jesus and that alone is the work of faith!
I think you meant to say faith without works is dead. Perhaps what people are trying to tell you is that salvation is fully and completely paid for by the sacrifice of Jesus. When we try to say that we are saved by anything other than His shed blood, or we try to GET saved by anything other than His shed blood, or we try to STAY saved by anything other than His shed blood, we nulify grace and we call God a liar. It's true we have to work out our faith with fear and trembling, and when we exercise our faith it will be accompanied by action. I suggest you look up the word GRACE in the Bible. This is crucial. If you do anything at all to get yourself saved other than throw your entire being on the mercy of God, you are cheapening Jesus' sacrifice-the Holy for the unholy.
Some believe they are going on an eternal Holiday They do not realize that there will be work to be done in Heaven GOD rests but One Day with Us this is the Father the son is every day with us He to does Work. The Work here on earth is all that you can take with you It is recorded and rewarded some confusion is about the work to the price of Salvation.
Which is fully Paid by the Grace of GOD and the Blood of Christ. Faith without works is dead because you are spiritually Dead with in this Flesh when you do nothing to please GOD the Father whom you are Brought before to be Judged. Even though you may be Saved by the Blood you are as a new born in Heaven Naked without reward without a crown or a robe Faithless uneducated which only happens to those who die in the flesh before the Millennium.
"But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" James 2:20 (KJV)
So, the word is "without" not "with."
Sitting back and doing nothing to help those in need -- not good.
I know I need to do more.
Faith without works is like a bank account that is hoarded and never spent. It is like a talent that is never used.

I think that Biblical faith is believing God enough to do what he says.
