Has there been one day that you can say was the best day of your life?
Was it the day you got married? Had your first child? Were declared cancer free? Describe the best day of your life.
I have been blessed in life to have many wonderful days. The day I married the love of my life, Mark. The day our son Michael was born. But the one that sticks out the most is the day I accepted Christ into my life. It was September 15, 2006 and my life has never been the same. I look to Christ for guidance in everything I do. I know my life has a purpose and I am called by Him to live out the purpose He has for me. I will do my best to be a diligent, good child of God and do my part while I am on this Earth and when I get to Heaven I hope He will reward me by telling me "Good Job my child, good job"!
The day I was taken from my parents and placed in foster care! After that day the births of my 3 children!
I always make every day to be the best day of my life.
I see no reason why we should not be happy every day and making it the best day of our lives.
Ask yourself if you are unhappy, what good did it do for you? Being sad will not make you happy. So why then you want to be sad?
Live your life to the fullest and be happy always.
Yes, there was.................It is not any of those that you mentioned.
I was an emotional wreck on my " marriage" day...
I was a wimp and scared on the birth of my first child.
I was a coward on the first day of my first child's school day.
Starting a new job assignment is traumatic.......I feel for the kids starting a new school.........we are both scared beyond reason, and too proud to show the fear!
It was a warm spring day, the children were young..............My husband and I took them to a local " fair"..............as he guided the older kids through the park exhibits and carnival rides, I sat with the newborn babe at my breast.............
the sun shined, the music played, the kiddies laughed and played......
tomorrow's bills , for one single day, seemed a lifetime away............
I simply basked in the sunshine, with newborn at my breast, and marveled............
what an attentive Dad, what happy little girls....................I just enjoyed the afternoon, despite the laundry, the weeds in the garden, the ensuing insurance payments.................we, each, for our own reasons, just basked in the afternoon that was given to us.
That afternoon, took place over 20 years ago.......................I remember it clearly, because, my children were happy, my husband was relaxed and my mind and conscience was free....................
Perhaps, my children might remember the space museum, or Six Flags, the Florida beach, or the San Antonio River............but, I, remember THAT day, because, it was the single BEST day of my lifetime to date.
I was just at my own personal best..............No other soul but mine, could know this peace.
