Invisible Barrier that can prevent

Does anybody here beleive that sometimes we have invisible barriers stopping us from achieving even the simplest of tasks, like you feel you have no energy to do anything, even a small task appears to be a major hurdle, but when you really get down into it, you can sort it out in no time but other times you get stuck and can't even think what to do next even though you know how to do it.

it is the initial getting up to start a task, it becomes a night mare! like for example, clutter, you can't decide how to sort it out, or where to start from, you don't want to throw things away in case you neede them later, so in the end you end up keeping everything that you bring home, so I am now burried in a pile high of clutter everywhere throughout my house.

this is causing me so much distress and anxiety, as I can't seem to clean up. Further more I seem to be running out of energy and soon as I start doing something I start feeling tired and sleepy!!

Any idea if the clutter itself is the cause or is it my self or my health (age 50+) I just can't seem to concentrate on any one thing and my mind runs race or moves from one task to another, all half finished jobs, its like nothing motivates me any more yet my surroundings depress me so much when I look everywhere I see nothing but clutter upon clutter!

That's a tough one, Mike. I'd recommend a Harley Davidson and a nice long road.  smile

There are times when people steal your energy. One example is when you think Im not a door knob, and suddenly you feel normal again. Some people send the you are part of the furniture vibe or the low income vibe, you must be lazy..

Sometimes too, the universe does borrow your energy for somewhere where it might be needed.

In psychiatric hospitals, they say people are disorganised and they often work to keep them in that state of mind so the staff themselves stay stable - and sometimes it really is stuff being worked out in the ether that your consciousness is being used or you have decided to work on.

There are people who live in their era too, which can unsettle others. Say the prime of someones life was 1950's - then they like to feel like they are in their prime, you could, suddenly feel not there or very young if you were alive then. I feel when my grandmothers energy crosses, its like my body is hers - and she is working at stuff related to he timeframe through me.

It is a technique also used by politically motivated types... when you hear a politican say we are committed, you might sense a change in the tone of their voice. That is the use of the psychiatric system to stop the electorate questioning why they did not fullfill this or that promise. They actually play with the subconscious to maintain us under controlled conditions, not to question, but to accept...

There are great things called energy pins that I actually visualize to stop other peoples energy overcoming my own. Thoughtforms and creative stuff, even your family plugging in on you. We also ask each other inain questions at times like "your not.....such and such are you" and you can see the thoughtform leave the aura...

      ((()))to you

Whether it is the actual parties which do this or a so called secret government, or a mad psychiatrist who wants to rule the world, I dont know. It could even be - at times, great aunty dot - bringing her energy back from 1902 to present day.

There are all sorts of things that can create energy shifts. I have found that copper, I had a copper necklace, but real copper can help ground and ward off some of this. St Johns Wort tea is good to as are nerve salts as they change the vibration of your energetic frequency.

There are all sorts of things that help. A walk in the park and grounding with a tree or lying on the ground help. Connecting to earth when too much air or ether energy. There are those who know what to do with the elements etc.. (((())))

I don't know what your means are like, but sometimes the best thing to do with a cluttered house that gets on top of you is to get some outside help.  It doesn't have to be a regular thing, just the one time (or occasionally) to help you get on top of it.

    Hi,

I feel for you and I have been as you are.

A friend of mine put me wise to energy channels. There are energy paths in our environment and bodies that get messed up. I will get the ladies name later tonight for you, but I think if you search for energy healing you may find her. She has seminars and has been in it over 20 or 30 years.

Clutter does me in - feels like static. I keep my studio however I please but I never create in my house as it would drive me nuts!

      Best to you, Holly

I think that there are many diffrent possabilities.
One common cause is that our lifes purpose or ambitions in life might have been fulfilled or smashed. Either way, focus on another meaningful (for you) project or goal or purpose.

Clutter would be one aspect.  There are several books written on the subject - Clutter Clearing by Karen Kingston is one, which also looks at a more spiritual aspect of the effects of clutter in your life..  There are usually psychological reasons for blockages and one indicator of these blockages is manifested in the home environment.  It's very true that when you have a clean out, ie excess clothes and unused items in the home, you make space for new things to enter and they usually do enter.

However, there are other things to consider - like why did you get into this clutter situation in the first place?  There is an evident lack of will, apathy, disinterest, lack of passion, lack of drive.  All these traits are actually a result of the mind, but what creates the blockages is something to explore.

Energy centers in the body, whilst it is good to keep them clear, is not the core problem of the issue, it is only a way of cleaning that which has become clogged.  Get to the source of the clogging and you will solve the problem.

Getting to the source of the problem is key.  Like Jerami said, focus is required to stay on track with a project/goal that feeds your will and desire.

With the clearing of the clutter, start in one room and work your way through, and know that in order to create structure you first have chaos.  Take small steps, big steps are overwhelming and you're likely to fail before you begin.

I do know what it feels like to not make headway, and to find the same piles of junk staring at you day after day.  In the past few years I have made alot of progress, but not all that I would like to.

Recently, I got a little book called 'Throw Out Fifty Things,' and it has helped me to change so many things, both physically and mentally.  I would highly recommend it to anyone who truly wants to change the cluttered state of their home, and the unsettled state of mind.

I find it exteremly hard to throw old things away, take for instance, any electrical stuff I buy, I will keep its packageing just in case it is needed to send the item back later on for under warranty repairs, now some of the stuff I have dates back to 1980! and some even 70s, I have my old first ever computer a 286 Ollivetti and an old typewriter still in my cellar,

sorry I will finish off this article a bit later someone has just called upon me .

I also do feel the same sometimes. I am 47. This is partly attributed to the age and responsibilities. If you have covered most of your responsibilities like bringing up a child, educate, marriage etc then you feel like you are done. This kind of slows you down in acheiving further and you start thinking enough is enough. This is the right time for you to start involving into the devine and nurture the inner secrets which will rejuvinate you. I do the same.

Well, yes, in a way, I always think of God, and asks him to give me the strength to achieve lots of unfinished tasks, but at times it seems where is God even though I firmly beleive in Him.

May be its me not God, just that I have lost motivation, interest, and my strength! and I lack concentration and foucusing on any one task. May be I will need some physological help!

I think that this statement you make is probably the real problem. The messy house is just a symptom.
The search for the Cause should be the your next quest.  You have the answer for this question also. To find it you might get a bike and find a long road as suggested earlier or find a quiet place on a mountain top ??
Ask yourself and listen to your inner self.
This never hurts, always a good thing,
say to your self  "time out, I gotta think"
Sometimes the dread of facing a problem and making a necessary decision as to how to deal with it will cause temporary "slow downs" such as you have described.
but I know nothing, was just thinking???

The problem is that after a while we start feeling overwhelmed with these simplest of tasks. You want to take care of it, you want to get it done, but you really aren't sure where to start. It does become overwhelmingly draining at times.

Let me ask you a question. When is the last time that you did something 100% for just you? When is the last time you did something enjoyable? I'm referring to something that you have passion for. When is the last time that you stood outside, sat on a chair, and just stared at the wonder around you? These are the times that we hear our souls talk to us and these are the times where we start to feel clear and alive again.

When we lose passion in our lives, we lose motivation. I would suggest working on waking up each morning with a small goal in mind. Accomplish that one goal, then make sure you do something for you as mentioned above.. You will start feeling the sense of accomplishment again. Keep taking those steps and move from there. We will only do harm to ourselves if we try to take care of everything at once.

I can't count the number of times I've found myself buried away in this hole. You'll come out, just climb smile

What is your purpose in life?

      1. profile image50
Mikedeltaposted 13 years agoin reply to this

I am sure we are not born on this earth to serve no purpose, just sleep, eat and go to work isn't the only purpose, thats just the basic necessasities, for the purpose there must be one, still not sure though what it may be! I do feel sometimes what a waste of life otherwise.

What can I do though apart from help the needy when I can, help those who are less unfortunate than me, but then that demands resources, and I am having to work day and night at it!

But if you look at another perspective, may be we were sent on earth to enjoy and experience the life and wonder at the nature and thank our creator, but how many of us are in difficult situation at the same time whilst many are enjoying, many are suffering like in hell, don't know where their next iece of meal will come from, quite puzzling really! still I suppose we are all at it trying to crack this puzzle of life. Thanks any way.
