According to Catholicism, God always was; infinite and eternal.

He's just always been. I can't tell you where he was, but I can say he didn't need a visible heaven or earth in order to exist so it was possible for him to create those things.

Sheilamyers pretty much summed it up. He has always been.

God exists outside of space-time, so "location" is not even an issue. He is everywhere and nowhere all at the same time. There was a time I didn't understand this. Many decades of learning have helped me to understand.

Even the word "before" is misleading. If you view time as a river, God would be above it, but even that feeble analogy is imperfect.

Owk if u guys say so...am happy with ur answers...u knw d nature of God is Holiness(d fullness of d Glory and d fullness of eternity)..were God sees everything before it takes place..it's realm that only God exist..psams 8:1 says God has set His Glory above the Heavens~dt means God's dwelling is nt limited to d Heaven's..Hallelujah.
