You know, stuff like that erks me too.  It's like a terrible lazy typing habit.  No harm though, it is just a pet-peeve of mine.

I'm puzzled.  Have they done something to you?  Why are you forgiving them?

Unless you are Jesus Christ, you have no right or power to forgive any troubled souls. How do you know they are in need of forgiveness. You may offer a blessing for those troubled souls though. Also Shalom shalom is a wrong ending for any prayer.

If you're in a forgiving mood, forgive in your own name, not that of another smile

And what are you forgiving them for? Are we surrounded by sin? I should hope so. We are flawed.

Nice. But keep 2 other important things in mind as well: 1) to forgive people is also something people do without being Christian. 2) The danger of self-complacency. Forgiveness is good, but Christians of course  shouldn't assume that they are always in the position of forgiving others. As long as you can see your own weakness, grave errors etc. it's okay.

@  jcmmanuel  I was just feling silly in my post above.    The word Forgiveness is understood differently by diffrent people. On our human level to forgive another is actually a self serving thing to do. Like cleaning the windows that we look through. I have known people that proudly cling onto ineffectiveness. They are not happy and they can not see life as it should be seen.
So yes; we can and should forgive others but our forgiveness has authority only in our own heart.
To forgive others is like taking out the trash.
unencumbered we can run faster and fly higher
