   Actually there are “many antichrists.” (1 John 2:18) Scripturally, then, “antichrist” refers to anyone who does as follows:
   
   1. Denies that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah) or denies that he is the Son of God.—1 John 2:22.
   
   2. Opposes the Christ, God’s Anointed One.—Psalm 2:1, 2; Luke 11:23.
   
   3. Pretends to be the Christ.—Matthew 24:24.
   
   4. Persecutes the followers of Christ, since Jesus views what is done to them as being done to him.—Acts 9:5.
   
   5. Falsely claims to be a Christian while practicing lawlessness or deception.—Matthew 7:22, 23; 2 Corinthians 11:13.

   We don't yet know.  Joseph is right that there are many, but THE AntiChrist has not yet been revealed.

      Star: Yes, there are many (denominations) via religion (Matt 24:24) operating in the spirit; not " man!" It's the "deceitful spirit" of the Antichrist who's here now!  That's why WE must "study and forget tradition & "our understanding!"

   There is only ONE place in the ENTIRE bible that states the words "THE ANTICHRIST" which is ONLY found in 1 John 4:3  (NKJV) which states:
   
   3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of "THE ANTICHRIST", which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
   
   No were else in the entire bible does it mention "the antichrist". And if you will note this verse I mention is referinge to "THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTI-CHRIST, which if you notice was already in the world at the time of the writting of 1John. It does not mention anywhere in the entire bible that "THE ANTI-CHRIST" is or will be of any one SPECIFIC individual or person who will stand out among everyone else. Because most people in this world are already anti-christs.
   
   If true be told, there are billions of individual persons out there who have "the spirit ot the antichrist" within them. And if you truely understand what an "anti-christ" IS based on 1John 2:18 then you will know what I'm talking about.
   Anything else that is spoken regarding "who is THE antichrist" is what people assume and nothing else.

      I agree that many have the spirit of the Anti-Christ in them, but there is THE Anti-Christ who is mentioned in Revelations.  He is also called the beast, the man of perdition, and the lawless one.  Do not you believe there will be an individual?

      Please show me anywhere in the the book of Revelation that mentions "THE ANTI-CHRIST. One can only assume the Lawless one that you mention is AN anti-christ because he goes against christ, in which the SPIRIT of "the anti-christ dwells in him.

      Grace/Star: I wrote resp before reading yours.  The Antichrist is a spirit of deceit using the Word of God as do religion. Anything "contrary" to New Cov teaching or the "gospel of Christ" is Antichrist!G is right! It's a spirit!G: Many more Scriptur

   The "antichrist" is amy and everyone who teaches anything less than the higher mind of god (Isaiah 55:8-9).  Thus, it is anyone proclaiming to know god but have not his higher understanding than the canal knowledge mind man proclaimed is the mind go god.

   The Antichrist is not "Who" but "What!"  Religion is the Antichrist for not teaching the "gospel of Christ" (Galatians 1:6-9) "after the cross!"  ALL say we are under the New Covenant yet most don't know HOW that "promise" began, WHEN it was fulfilled, and that the Holy Spirit (WHO Jesus) began speaking through the Apostles, telling us what's  necessary for salvation!  Religion has taught most that the Apostles were not Jesus!  If Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8:10; and 10:16 say "He would put His laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts;" is that not Jesus?
   
   Remember the "seven churches" in Revelation?  Revelation 13:1 says "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a "beast" rise up out of the sea, having seven (churches) heads...and upon his head the name of blasphemy." Revelation 19:20 says "And the "beast" (Religion) was taken, and with him the "false prophet" (Preachers/Teachers) that wrought miracles before him...These BOTH were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone."  Therefore, the false teachings ("beast") and the "false prophet" were BOTH cast into the lake and are the spirit of the Antichrist!
   
   Matthew 24:24 says "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the elect."  Did you hear that?  "If it were possible?"  Thank God for His Holy Spirit which "will lead and guide us into ALL truth!"

   On this I am Staking My Very Life as a Human Being and a Servant of The Lord Our GOD. Yes there is an Anti-Christ. Yes It will be a Being of GOD's Creation and It will reek more havoc upon the face of this earth greater in the End Times then all that has ever been or shall be ever again. The Fallen Lucifer, The Morning Star, that Old Dragon, The Deceiver, the Destroyer the First Liar, The First Murder, The Rebellious One, The Contender, ETC. ETC. This IS Satan that Jesus Told To Get Thee behind Me Satan. These all are One Non Human Being. But a Fallen Angel. Whether it is an Arch, Cherub, Seraphim, type of Angel or whatever! It is of No matter! But  It Is a fallen Star or a Child of GOD. It is This Anti-Christ Prophesied to Come! It will take the form of a man [Human] but shall not be a man or Human being! Satan has never done this nor his angels with him. He and They refused this offer from GOD The Father. Seven Thousand or so to my understanding Shall Fall instantly when Christ Our Lord Jesus returns. And since the cross they Refused to repent to do this still. Hence his and their sentence to Death. This Satan and anti-Christ is also the "Son Of Perdition" The only Ones Today! That are already Sentence To be forgotten By GOD. Eternal Death, Flesh, Body, and Soul. Never to Be remembered. This Fallen Son of GOD  Satan the Fallen Child of GOD is Held in Heaven Today Until GOD Cast him Back Upon this Earth to Finish what he Started the Separation of The Goats and the Sheep. The division of The Fallen Children of GOD. All of Us that Fell or were drug out from Heaven from the War They Started. Some of Us did Not go willingly or were deceived by a Lie. 2/3rds of us here today will never make it to the Anti Christs Judgment of the Saints. The Elect the true Believers here that remain. There is no true Rapture before this event takes place as it is taught by today's  Preachers.  I place No Trust or validate that Nonsense in and Way, Shape or Form. To Me that is a Load of Crap devised by the anti-Christs of today or the spirit of the Devil Satan's Children.
