I am more humble because I am an introvert. I try not to be proud so I don't fall into the sin of pride. But I am only human and find myself prideful at times when I get something accomplished.
For example, today I had a busy schedule. After dropping off my daughter off at college, I went shopping, cleaned house, made apple sauce and apple slices cooked dinner. So I am proud that I got a lot done plus getting into the swing of canning. I am proud that I got a lot done instead of wasting my day playing games on the computer-which is a habit I am trying to break.
i think there are difference between to be proud and to be arrogant , in your case you have to be prideful because you achieve some works in a short time so that is good and you have teach people in another article how can they invest their time .
In my opinion, a person is neither humble nor proud, but mostly humble or mostly proud. I see in myself painful moments of pride and sweet moments of humility. In the moments of pride, I am being led by my own desires; but in the moments of humility, I am yielding to God's will.
I like to think of myself as humble, but my ego tells me to be proud. I can never be sure whether I am feeling humble or egotistic. Trying to remain humble is a constant internal struggle against the ego.
Humble is what God need us to be , so that we can continue to learn , if we can not be humble , then we will be limited in knowledge , we will not continue to learn because we think we know all there is to know,
Wrong thinking, According to this scripture it clearly says we will never know it all.New World Translation
Ec 3:11He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has even put eternity in their heart; yet mankind will never find out the work that the true God has made from start to finish.
Ps 25:9 He will guide the meek in what is right, And he will teach the meek ones his way.
Ps 37:11But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
Only the meek will be left on the earth.
As said, because they are humble
And teachable.
Well, I try to be humble, but being human we sometimes forget what humble really means. I try really hard to be respectful of others, their ideas, emotions, and feelings and know that my importance is only really important to me. I often limited my own ability or importance. I am very assertive when it comes to being degraded by someone who is judging. As I said, I am human.
I am proud about some things in my life, and feel that I am blessed but I do not think I am too proud. I am proud to be who I am. Faults and all. I am proud that I have been raised with values and the importance of being mindful of how I live by my parents. I do have a certain amount of pride and do not want the world to know my faults (at least the big ones, LOL). We all have them.
I am like the guy below, I pray to God to have a heart like David. He was humble and God loved him for it, even with his sin. He always confessed his regret of sin and God found a way to forgive him.

Why do gays have to come out? why do they need to tell everyone?I get fed up hearing about gay rights, gay whatever.I don't find the need to tell everyone around me that I'm not gay; I doubt if anyone cares, so why do they make such a song and dance about it?

I do not like to ask or receive help because it is embarrassing for me. When my friends and family advise me not to do something, the first thing i do is try to find out why i can't do and do it, so I learn the hard why not to do something. My grades and a lot of other aspects of my life have...

Can you tell the difference between a real cowboy and a wanna be cowboy? If so tell me how.Is it when their boots cost more than their trucks or what's under them boots that counts? Could it be in the way they walk from all the horse riding or the way they shape their hat? What do you think?
