The soul is in isolation from God, but again, God wants to enjoy the cosmic game. So the isolation is in itself part and parcel of God's plan. Once we enter this ephemeral world, we enter the world of duality: Light and darkness; winter and summer; good and evil; heaven and hell; positive and negative ....

Struggle is necessary to transform and transcend. It is also a part of the plan and inclusive of our journey. Otherwise, it is difficult, if not impossible, to remove or erase our guilt, fears, insecurities ... the five major vices: ego, attachment, greed, anger and lust.

Purity is essential to enter the finer realms and adversity prepares us for this journey. So we involuted (came down) and right now are evoluting (heading back) via the struggles necessary for purification of the soul.
