A one time date asked me what I thought of the idea that we humans only exist in the imagination of someone else.

    What purpose would it serve?

So the machines can use our bodies for energy. Duh.

Wow. Talk about life imitating art.

This is beyond my thinking, and I have been a student of metaphysics since 1976. Many of the authors that I've encountered on the subject say that the earth and we humans are holograms, which I'm not sure would be considered a simulation. They write that every picture painted or piece of music written pales in contrast to the original that is painted or written in the spirit world from which we come. I hope these people know more than I do because I'm certainly no authority.

If someone claims a picture pales before another one, it would certainly be reasonable to ask to see that "other one" in the spirit world to verify the earthly one really does pale before it.

Oh, I'm sure that you'll get to see it -- someday.
