The Chosen series-Any thoughts?
I have been hearing about the Chosen series for quite some time and decided to check it out. I suppose that my expectations were low as there are many depictions of the story of the Gospels from the New Testament. But I am just over half way on the first season and I have been pleasantly surprised. I am hooked. The story of Jesus is told in a way that makes it fresh. Many things depicted open my eyes as to how things may have been around 2,000 years ago: Tax collectors, the Romans, Lepers, the poor, John the Baptist. I have found the series very interesting. I enjoy the depictions of the Apostles, with Peter in particular. What are your thoughts on the series?
