All religion is an organic experience if no man-made teachings become a part of that journey. Wouldn't all man-kind have a personalized experience of his spiritual life if there was not a religion available?

spiritual experience are personalized ones..religion is man made and so comes with different versions of what to do and what not to do..best way for god if he wanted rules would have been to program humans...

We are programed, we are programed to cheat on our partners, to use violence to protect our tribe and so on... we seem to have religion to overcome the god made programming!!

There is no such thing as a "spiritual life" - this is something dreamed up by believers to give their cults doctrines some credibility.

Jerami, show me this so-called 'spiritual life' and I'll change my mind. Can you?

I can not define it for ya.  Cain't draw or take apicture of anything for ya.  But to deny anything out side of myself is blind.  I don't care if I'm talking about you, me , or anyone else.  To not believe that anything exists outside of my understanding is childish.

God is an immortal. Its a spiritual experience. A true Christian feels peace in his/her heart. Reactions define a person also. If you don't react verses reacting negatively. A true Christian if made a mistake comes clean and admits he or she made a mistake and moves.. verses a non-believer just makes the mistake worses and doesn't care who gets hurt, possibly. God is not organic. He is a spiritual entity, so to speak.

A true Christian does not write misleading hubs full of garbage in the hope of making a few dollars from women suffering from breast cancer.

Human spirituality can only be found in loving oneself and through compassion for those who do not.

I look forward to reading how many individuals can admit that religion is man made.

Isn't RELIGION just a name tag that has been put on one variation of social interaction?
if it is or isn't ?  yes it is man made. Isn't most everything on earth except for the elements themselves?

      Faith in God is not.

he? imply s god has genitalia. and the needs associated with being a male.  i just cant buy into that kind of thinking. if it works for you i think that's great.i respect all god ideas and defend  ones right to believe as they wish. but  bible thumping and hard sale pitching i find off putting.

I feel religion is a preferential expression of the relationship to "God".  People are more focused on the expression which is why there is so much conflict between religion.  They forget what the expression is about...

God is a spirit. When you invite him in your heart. You feel at peace.

Religion seems to be a way of figuring out what to do with a spiritual experience.

Some want to share it so they encourage others to do exactly what they did so others can have the same amazing experience. It doesn't work the same way for everyone though, we bring different personalities and understandings.

Some seem to think they now have all understanding and are furious at anyone that reacts differently. They make up rules and discount anything that happens to someone that isn't what happened to them.
