Christianity puts so much emphasis on the Dad (God) & Son (Jesus). Some says the Son is equal to Dad & no less... But what about the Mother? Theres the God dad & the God Son, but why theres no God Mom? Why is there so much Gender Discrimination? Why the Mom is left alone as a mere human while the Son & Dad enjoys the Godship?? Is it just because Christianity was another mere creation of a male dominated society?? or Is it because Christianity is gender biased in its core??
We have a Heavenly Mother who is every bit as real as our Heavenly Father. "God" as termed in scripture is plural. We are in the image of Heavenly Parents. That same family structure is what we perpetuate here in mortality.
Just as in your own family (Hopefully) Mom is the Holy Spirit of the family.
So Christianity converted the third deity, the female into holy spirit? Just to make it look different from the Pagan triad concepts! or May be minimizing emphasis on female aspects of God & giving full power to the male counterparts because its a male concept!! Whatever it is, this is not a new concept & has been borrowed from paganism cults.
A triple deity (sometimes referred to as threefold, tripled, triplicate, tripartite, triune or triadic) is a deity associated with the number three. Such deities are common throughout world mythology; the number three has a long history of mythical associations. C. G. Jung considered the arrangement of deities into triplets an archetype in the history of religion.
Triads like the Theban triad of Amun, Mut and Khonsu and the Memphite triad of Ptah, Sekhmet and Nefertem although noticeable but can be considered as local triads. The Egyptian Sun God Ra created a triad of his own, whose form in the morning was Kheper, at noon Re-Horakhty and in the evening Atum. However, the most famous among these triads are that of Osiris (man), Isis (wife), and Horus (son) which has been present in many periods of Egyptian history.
Such triads & triple deity concepts were not only limited to Egyptian mythology only. Throughout history, we find such concepts in numerous theologies. The Roman Capitoline Triad of Jupiter (father), Juno (wife), and Minerva (daughter) was very popular throughout Roman history. There was the Classical Greek trio of Zeus (father), Leto (mother), and Apollo (son). There were triads of goddesses, the Greek Moirae, Charites, Erinnyes and the Norse Norns, or the three aspects Hecate.
Heres a short list of earlier triads. At least they were not Gender biased:
• Julian triad of Venus Genetrix, Divus Iulius, and Clementia Caesaris
• Lugus (Esus, Toutatis and Taranis) in Celtic mythology
• Odin, Vili and Ve in Germanic mythology
• The Norns in Germanic mythology
• The Triglav in Slavic mythology
• Perkūnas (god of heaven), Patrimpas (god of earth) and Pikuolis (god of death) in Baltic mythology
Until very recently the mother gave birth to her family and raised them while the father provided for their needs and safety. So we had a father figure as the head of the household and that is the reason for God being regarded as our heavenly Father. In the spiritual realm of heaven there are no gender differences but out of sheer respect one never refers to a person as 'it'. They are either he or she so God is He.
Does anyone of those two are given equivalent position & power to God? or equivalent position to Jesus?
Eve was the first woman, Mary was the mother of Jesus,
Jesus The Son of God
God is the Father
Father is masculine
I know who were these two women. You did not answer my question. Are these women given equivalent power or position to Jesus or God? I understand Your indirect answer is 'NO'.
Therefore looking at Eve or Mary does not minimizes the gender discrimination or male domination of Christianity!
if one understand the perfection of the unity that caused God to be father you would also understand why He can only be masculine.
anyone who needs a feminine god can pick any of the false ones flying around.
well feminine is independent ...now with evolving science feminine would be able to reproduce without support of men...so by that logic god has to be feminine because men are replaceable...
The god of this existing world is feminine in his nature and posseses many faces.
God who is true and is the begining and the end can only be masculine in nature.
to fully understand the nature of masculine and feminine gender you must look beyond the penises and vaginas.
for presntly you can feminine with penis and the masculine with vaginas.
what do you mean by masculine my friend...how do you define masculine?...
Truth and wisdom, which is greater?
if you are able to answer correctly then you will find your answer.
and the one who teaches himself is greater than the one who is taught by another.
how do you analyze and reach truth?...how to you define that x or y or z is truth?
Truth is that which is separate and apart from all false. it is that which come out of nothing and is all things.
x y and z are not defined by themselves but by you .
therefore they are not truth.
truth is the understanding of the mind and since that understanding makes the person, you become that person and you become TRUTH.
so therefore never look for Truth outside of your self.
and when you become truth you are able to put all things in proper perspective
i am not defining anything..i am just trying to understand...you said truth is separate of false..so we need to distinguish between what is false and what is truth...here come defining part...and that is what i asked you..how do you distinguish?...for that you got to define ...
your understanding is your definition.
and the one who desire to live by truth, will look for it in all things until he finds the way to separate truth from false.
I tell you the truth that the knowledge is already with you, just continue to do what you already know to be truth without hypocrisy.
Can you even define the word 'Truth' properly?? I bet you cant even do that without Googling it.
@ Kess
"The god of this existing world is feminine in his nature and posseses many faces." - Then why do you call him father?? He should have been called "ANDROGYNIE"
You talk a lot but you dont contribute anything productive, You talk about big things but you dont explain them. Do you even understand the meanings of your words?? If yes, then please elaborate some of your words you have used here:
1. Perfection of the unity & how that caused God to be a Father but not Androgynie
2. Define masculine & feminine from your point with the little rationality you have
3. Why a true God has to be masculine???
Answer each of these 3 points step by step with all your logic & clarity, if you have the answers.
I already have all the answers that I need thank you.
and the one who truly desires something will know when, how and what to ask.
not that being unfair..if you have all the answers then you should answer to those who dont know...isn't it?
does it make sense to you to bake a pie in your best wares for a pig,
will the pig treat the pie better than his slosh?
it is the similar with many who seem to want to know. they make you into something youre not and they recieve an understanding you never intended
this is the foundation of all religion.
as my pal said to many here in not so many words, both the question and the answer is one, they come from the same place and go to the same place.
I have given you answers you can use.
when you realize this now you begin to know truth.
& I see you are living in an illusion that you have all the answers
But thanks for sharing your baseless notions anyway.
For once, a statement from you that I agree with, kess.
you agree because it follows christian doctrine to a certain point. but the origin and the understanding is beyond you and christianity.
right...I was just making a point to them.

Women. God’s afterthought and man’s curse to rule.I think it quite ironic that God, who tells us to reproduce as his first commandment to man in Genesis 1, does not give us something to reproduce with till Genesis 2; 18. Further, only after a severe chastisement without correction, even to death,...

However, in the man, the soul's feminine essence is hidden or downplayed. In the woman, the masculine essence is hidden or downplayed. We benefit in marriage through experiencing the essence which manifests predominantly in our partners. In this way marriage helps us get in touch with the deeper...

If Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, is He then one being in heaven?I always thought Jesus was the son of God, in all actuallty. I never knew the meaning of "the son of God" until just now. So now I realize that God came in human form and was called Jesus, Jesus and God are the same. So...

Do you understand the relationship of same sex attraction? If a woman is attracted to a woman, why does one of them need to be masculine? And if a man is attracted to a man, why does one of them need to be feminine?
